At Tyne FM we aim to provide an alternative to traditional terrestrial radio. We will broadcast a selection of pre-recorded and live programmes which will provide listeners from all over the globe with the opportunity to listen to a variety of music genres.

We will provide a news service that will keep Geordies living abroad and those with an interest in the North of England, updated with all the current events that are affecting the county today.

The main focus of the station will be the promotion of Tyne & Wear together with Northumberland.
